What customers say?

“ I had to stop there for work. I really enjoyed the place and the service. I had the opportunity to speak with the manager; he cares about his customers and provides excellent service. I recommend it. ”

- Stéphanie Gosselin -

“ Good service and hospitality, their fondue pizza and roasted chicken, as babyback ribs are great, nice presentation of the dishes, and prices are reasonable. They are currently forming their staff to the Normandin chain standards, as it recently just opened this year; personally pleased on all levels (food, service, and atmosphere). ”

- Max Bauer -

“ We ordered at 12:30 and received our food at 13:07. The wait was too long. The poutine portion was small and the fries were too hard. The spaghetti was excellent, as was Roxanne's service; she even came to apologize for the delay. ”

- Linda G -

“ It was a bit long, but it was worth it! Very friendly and good service. I had the giant burger with Italian poutine; it was delicious! Thank you! ”

- William Rheault -

“ Excellent service! The waitress was busy with her customers, but remained friendly and our service was perfect! Also, the food was excellent and served quickly! ”

- Carolanne Bergeron -

“ The team was awesome and facilitated our seating as we arrived 7 without a reservation in a training environment. ”

“ Normandin is, overall, a good place to eat. We're talking about a restaurant that serves typical Canadian cuisine, but more geared toward "fast food" than stew and vol-au-vents, if I may put it that way. Some dishes are delicious, like the pizza and spaghetti combo. However, some are not as delicious, and I'm referring here, for example, to the nachos, which taste pretty much the same as when I make them myself at home. Now, I'm glad Goofy Poutine is still served there. Goofy was by far my favorite restaurant, and the poutine was one of the most famous in all of Quebec. Unfortunately, the hot chicken sauce is gone, and that was my favorite. As for the barbecue, the experience is similar, but it's true that it's not always exactly the same. Is it a matter of perception? Can some small changes have such an impact on our culinary memories? (If Normandin has made such changes, of course.) Because personally, I sometimes feel like the potatoes aren't as crispy as they used to be, and the sauce seems to have become the "light" version of what it once was. It may be a delusion on my part, of course. But one thing's for sure: the prices are far from being sweetened! ”

- Frédéric Bouchard -

“ Sure, we might miss Goofy, but Normandin is holding its own. And it's good that they tried to preserve and capitalize on nostalgia to keep certain recipes alive. ”
